We were awarded Riding Club of the Year 2024 in the BHS annual awards. We won this award because of the range of activities we do, the fact that members competed at every Championship and for our care and compassion in the club and wider community
Northallerton Riding Club is one of the 28 British Riding Clubs in Area 4 which covers Yorkshire and Humberside. There are about 140 members, riding and non-riding at present. Our club gives members the chance to train, ride, compete and have fun together.
We invite you join us on Wednesday evenings at Northallerton Equestrian Centre to improve your riding skills and knowledge. We cover all disciplines, including jumping, flat work, pole work and gymnastic jumping, catering for all levels of ability. Just text Deb on Monday nights after 7pm if you want to come along and we look forward to seeing you there.
We hold regular get-togethers to sample the cuisine on offer in the local pubs often after a walk through the countryside. Everyone is welcome to come along and well-behaved dogs and children are welcome. Just watch out for the emails and put your name forward at the time.
Our AGM is held in November in a local venue. As well as the usual reports and financial statements that have to be read and presented to the members, we also award prizes for Attendance, Most Improved Horse & Rider, Best Volunteer, Best Area 4 member, and the Dressage League winner. We recognise both junior and senior members.
Please do try and come along to this night and support the club.
Remember if there is anything that you need to know please get in touch.
